Kali Gandaki is one of the holiest rivers in Nepal, and every junction on the Kali Gandaki is dotted with cremation sites and above ground burial mounds. The Kali Gandaki is an excellent alternative to the Trisuli. The rapids on Kali Gandaki are much more technical and continual than on the Trisuli. It's fun and challenging river with rapids that will keep you busy for three days.

Royal Chitwan National Park (932 sq. m.) includes a section of the Chure hills, the Rapti and the Narayani Rivers. The park is home to the only significant number of one-horned rhinoceroses surviving in Nepal, and to other endangered species such as the royal Bengal tiger, the Gangetic dolphin and the Gharial crocodile. Altogether there are more than 43 species of large mammals and over 450 species of birds. There are no human communities living in the park.
