You'll cook with Rosina and/or Rita, two excellent home cooks that will teach you how to prepare typical Italian and Friulian recipes. Rosina began cooking at the age of 15, when she started helping in the kitchen of her aunt's restaurant. Today she is very passionate about sharing the many classic Italian and traditional Friulian recipes passed down to her from her family. Rita is a self-taught, enthusiastic home cook with formidable cooking abilities as she is able to combine fresh ingredients, simple preparation and a harmonious blending of ingredients to bring out the natural flavors of food.

Depending on the number of participants, cooking classes take place either in the welcoming and equipped kitchens of Rosina's and Rita's charming homes near the town center (1-4 participants) or in the spacious kitchen of a nearby beautifully restored country cottage with a nice orchard garden and splendid views over the Matajur mountain, the Natisone valleys and the enchanting countryside (5-10 participants).

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at your B&B on your own. Check-in and free time to explore the surroundings before enjoying a typical dinner at a local restaurant.

Day 2: Breakfast. Your first cooking class, including 3-4 different recipes followed by lunch of your creations. Then free time to visit prestigious wineries, cheese makers, prosciutto factories and explore the many historical and delightful sites in this scenic corner of north-eastern Italy. We shall be glad to offer assistance in itinerary planning, restaurant and winery reservations and provide you with detailed maps and gourmet dining suggestions.

Day 3: Breakfast. Visit the local market. Cooking class # 2 on 3-4 different recipes followed by lunch of your creations. In the afternoon, free time to explore the region according to your interests.

Day 4: Breakfast. Check-out from the hotel and arrivederci!
