The estate also houses a renowned winery producing prized D.O.C. red and white wines and an excellent grappa. The cellar, which can be reached by descending seventy steps underground, was a former military bunker. It was built at the end of the 30's and used during the Second World War as a bomb shelter. It crosses the heart of the castle from east to west and it is the pride of the estate.
Day 1: Arrival the castle inn on your own in the early afternoon.
Check-in and free time to explore the surroundings and the castle wine cellars. Afternoon: cooking class # 1 followed by dinner.
Day 2: Breakfast. Morning: free time to explore the region according to your interests. We shall be glad to offer assistance in itinerary planning, restaurant and winery reservations and provide you with detailed maps and suggestions. Afternoon: return to the castle for your cooking class # 2 followed by dinner.
Day 3: Breakfast. Full-day free to explore the region and/or take an independent day trip to Venice, Slovenia or Austria! Return to your accommodation in the evening for a farewell dinner at the refined castle restaurant.
Day 4: Breakfast. Hotel check-out and arrivederci!
