Tour Details Transfer to Hidden Cambodia base at 7.30 am, complete booking forms, remaining payments due, rider deposit, check bikes, equipment, rider skills and ride out to Beng Melea. Riders have an opportunity to visit this 11th century temple. It was thought to be the prototype of Angkor Wat and was used as a hunting lodge and as a resting place for royal groups traveling to Preah Khan Temple, over 160 km away. It was full of game and wild animals at one time. Hanging ferns and walkways surround this temple. This road is flat and an ideal road for those riding in Cambodia for the first time. Guests lunch at the restaurant near the temple and depending on time can travel on further to Svay Leu to see very unusual remote carvings. Guests return to Hidden Cambodia base for celebratory drinks around 5pm. Round trip is about 120/130 km. For more experienced riders there are some more challenging routes on return that introduce riders to different terrain.
