Daily diving in Dahab in a no-hassle, easy affair. All diving in Dahab is shore diving. Non-divers can snorkel or swim at most sites or relax on the shore in one of the restaurants while you are underwater! If you are already a certified diver going on daily dives, you will need to be at the dive centre by 9:00 AM. A taxi will take divers and their gear to the site with travel times ranging from 10 minutes to half an hour.
In between dives you can relax in one of the lounge style restaurants and enjoy some lunch or a drink. Depending on the dive site, you will return to the dive centre at about 3:00 PM. For more information on what you will be seeing underwater, please review some of the dive sites in Dahab. For the camel safari dives, such as Ras Abu Gallum or Gabr El Bent, requiring a camel for transport to these remote areas will mean earlier starts and later returns, but the trip is worth it!
