Our point-to-point trip is offered for those who has off-road relevant experience and fitness, but you can jump into the support vehicle in any time.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Your guide meets you at the airport in Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan's capital, and takes you to a hotel, where you can recuperate after your long flight. Today the capital of Kyrgyzstan is ours to explore. We visit Historical Museum and other sightseeing attractions in Bishkek.

Day 2: The day starts with a detailed briefing of what the rest of the trip holds. Then we depart eastward by vehicle to Kegety canyon visiting on the way the Burana tower (minaret, 11 century), one of major Silk Road archeological site in Kyrgyzstan. We have lunch and assemble our bikes on arrival at the first camp at the altitude of 1800 meters in an alpine valley surrounded by majestic peaks over 4000 meters height.

Day 3: Today is our first day of riding. We begin to climb the valley to a camp below the summit of the pass.

Day 4: Only a couple of hours' ride on a rocky road remains to the top of Kegety Pass (3600 meters). The road stops just short of the pass on either side. Winding descent 900 meters to the East Karakol Valley floor awaits us after a stop for lunch and soaking in the spectacular view. The support vehicles cannot cross the pass, but will meet us at camp on the other side. Today our camp is located near by a Kyrgyz herding camp. Distance: 40 mountainous km.

Day 5: Begin today by riding from 2700 meters till 3300 meters along the East Karakol valley. Camp in the upper reaches of West Karakol. Distance: 68 km.

Day 6: Long day of gradual, downhill riding between 1500 meters and 2100 meters. Heading south towards the Kyokyo-Meren gorge the route will take us past the interesting cemeteries and museum of Kozhankul. Descend another 40 km and 900 m to the village of Aral. Distance: 80 km. Board bus for 60 km. Drive up along the Jumgal river past Chaek and Kaima to camp at the Kyokyo-Meren river.

Day 7: We continue to drive by bus to the chilly but beautiful Kara-Keche valley. Then ride uphill all morning out of the valley to the pass at 3150 meters then descend another 30 km. Through rolling hills around the southern side of Song-Kol Lake (3000 meters) We have a chance to visit a real Kyrgyz yourt and ride horseback across the grasslands. Distance: 56 km.

Day 8: Half day ride. Leave the lake and climb the Dolon Pass. Camp in Saribyel. Optional hike or ride through the gorge. Distance: 30 km.

Day 9: Ride in bus most of the day to avoid a long, hot, tedious stretch of road. Camp near the ancient stone monument of Tash-Rabat.

Day 10: Descent from Tash-Rabat Valley and then up and around the mountains on the main road to 3450 meters Chatyr-Kol Lake. Camp at the mineral spring. Distance: 99 km.

Day 11: Rest day. Note: depending on weather and logistics, we may elect to take this rest day earlier in the trip.

Day 12: Ride 5 km to the immigration post and climb 8 km (300 vertical m) up to Torugart Pass (3700 meters). Distance: 60 km. Part with Kyrgyz crew, cross border and meet Chinese escort. The bikes will return in the vehicle to Bishkek. We have to drive about 160 km. in order to reach Kashgar, a big market town. Accommodation in the best hotel in Kashgar, International Hotel.

Day 13: Today is spent in sightseeing in Kashgar: Id Kah mosque, the Apak Hojia Tomb etc. As an alternative we can make trip to Lake Karakul, one of attractive places in China.

Day 14: We have the unique opportunity to visit the Sunday Market in Kashgar, one of highlights of our trek. It's any photographer's dream.

Day 15: We depart Kashgar for coming back to Kyrgyzstan. Our Kyrgyz crew is waiting us at the Torugart Pass. We drive to Naryn where spend night in the Yourt INN.

Day 16: Drive back to Bishkek (360 km). Accommodation in Pinara -Bishkek Hotel. During dinner we take the unique opportunity to see a Kyrgyz folk-show.

Day 17: You depart from Kyrgyzstan. We enjoyed hosting you in Central Asia and hope to see you once again!
