Stay in Chiping Campden the 'Jewel' of the Cotswolds with its heritage High Street and a variety of shops, art galleries, gold and silversmiths. At night sample cosy pubs or intimate restaurants. From Chipping Campden travel southwards towards Upper and Lower Slaughter. Your next stay is in Winchcombe, the ancient walled city of Mercia until the 11th century when it became part of Gloucestershire, now a small town with shops, pubs, tearooms, restaurants and a castle.
