Tour Details: Starting in Leysin at the far western edge of the Berner Oberland, we will traverse all the way to Grimsel pass in central Switzerland. We will leave Leysin - my home town and travel through my backyard, climbing and skiing les Diablerets, Wildhorn, Wildstrubel, Geimmi, Petersgrat and finishing in the heart of the Berner Oberland crossing the Alestch glacier surrounded by the majestic peaks like the Jungfrau, Monch, Eiger, Finsteraarhorn. Just an amazing tour. Must be a good skier.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Meet in Leysin review gear, condition.

Day 2: Transfer to les Diablerets. Ride the lift to Diablerets glacier and start the tour, traverse to Wildhorn hut, via Arpelistock, Wildorn 3246 m. Widorn hut.

Day 3: From Wildhorn hut to Wildstrubel hut via the Ravil pass.

Day 4: From Wildstrubel hut to Gemmi pass hotel. We will traverse the Plaine Morte, Climb the Wildstrubel 3243 meters and enjoy a great descent to Lammerzee.

Day 5: Gemmi pass to Kandersteg via the Stegpass and down to Ueschinen, Kandersteg. Hotel for the night.

Day 6: Kandersteg to Mutthorn hut 2,901 meters via Petersgrat. We will walk to the end of the valley to Heimritz, ski up the Kanderfin glacier.

Day 7: Muthorn hut to Flaferalp and Hannen hut. We will ski up to Petersgrat at 3,207 meters and ski down to Flaferalp at 1788 meters. Later on that day we will ski climb to Hannen hut 2366 meters.

Day 8: Hannen hut to Concordia hut via Loschenluke at 3,178 meters this tour will give us access to the Berner Oberland High ground. Skiing the Langglestcher and the GrosserAletscherfin glacier to the
Concordia hut at 2,850 meters.

Day 9: Concordia hut to Finteraar hut 3,048 meters via the Grunhornlucke 3,286 meters we will option to ski: Gruneegghorn 3,860 meters, Weissnollen 3,594 meters. Agassihorn 3,953meters.

Day 10: Finsteraar to Oberaar hut, 3,223 meters. But first we will ski either the Finsteraarhorn at 4,274 meters or Gross Wannenhorn 3,905 meters.

Day 11: Oberaar hut to Munster and return to Leysin. Just out of the hut we will ski ascent the Galmihorn 3,517 meters, then we will ski down to Munster at 1,388 meters. An exceptional descent starting across glacier, passing by alpine level, high meadow, and finishing in the forest. Just amazing! (7,026 feet vertical).
