There have been always trails used by messengers, warriors, farmers and shepherds and we will follow them between Évora and Monsaraz! Away from the tarmac we will ride trails in a way that no one does anymore. People are living their lives and going about their duties in their old way: apparently not impressed with modern lifestyles. Our helmets and bike gear will get some curious but friendly looks! The ride's length is the main challenge; technically, the most interesting and difficult portion will be the last four miles down to the River Guadiana — a fast downhill over slate!
