Step back in time as you enter a true canyon created over millions of years. Experience the grandeur of a mighty rainforest that has survived bushfires, hot summers and snowy winters. Sit beside the mountain stream and listen to its quiet murmur, as it tumbles and cascades over boulders and cliffs.
Day 1: Meeting time 8.30 am or 1 pm. 3 to 4 hours duration. What to bring: comfortable walking shoes, drinking water, camera, hat & sunscreen, sense of adventure. This popular half day hike is a complete showcase of the Blue Mountains vegetation's tenacity to survive and regenerate after bushfire. Although moderate fitness is required, the hike is memorable for its amazing pathway, which passes under cliff overhangs, through caves, crosses streams and winds its way through a diverse range of ecosystems.
Airfare is not included in the tour price.
