The Etosha National Park is a must for every visitor. The dried out saltpan is the centre of the Park and the waterholes, both natural and man-made, attract thousands of animals. The scenery is unique in the world and together with herds of antelope, zebra and also big game such as elephant, rhino and lion give this beautiful game park its essential character.

Your Itinerary:

Day 1 (Thursday): Windhoek.

Depart at around 09.00 from your hotel in Windhoek and travel northwards via Okahandja and Otjiwarongo to the Etosha National Park. Just after crossing the border into the Park, you will be able to view some game. The special attraction at night is a floodlit waterhole in Okaukuejo or Halali Rest Camp. Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at Okaukuejo or Halali Rest Camp.

Day 2 (Friday): Etosha National Park.

A whole day of game viewing lies ahead of us and you can enjoy the sight of herds of antelope, zebra and giraffe and with a bit of luck also some of the big game such as elephant, rhino and lion. We drive along the vast saltpan, visit the historic Fort Namutoni and depart shortly before sunset to the upmarket Mokuti Lodge, located just outside the eastern gate of the Park. Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at Mokuti Lodge.

Day 3 (Saturday): Mokuti Lodge.

Enjoy the game drives at the eastern side of the Park, where the vegetation as well as the variety of game is quite different to the more central side. Overnight on a dinner, bed and breakfast basis at Mokuti Lodge.
