This safari runs from Windhoek to the spectacular Namib Desert / Sossusvlei from where we carry on to a typical desert farm, the coastal town of Luderitz and to the great Fish River Canyon before returning to Windhoek.

Your Itinerary:

Day 1 (Tuesday): Depart at. 09.00 from your Hotel in Windhoek via the scenic Spreetshoogte Pass to the luxurious Namib Naukluft Lodge to arrive for lunch; Pm enjoy the open spaces of the surrounding desert landscape, go for walks in the vicinity and join a scenic 'sundowner'-drive to the 'Marble Mountains'. Overnight at Namib Naukluft Lodge - full board .

Day 2 (Wednesday): Early morning rise for your excursion by 4x4 vehicle to the spectacular Sossusvlei area, where some of the highest dunes in the world are found. Visit the rugged Sesriem Canyon before you return to the Lodge. Spend the afternoon at leisure. Overnight at Namib Naukluft Lodge - full board.

Day 3 (Thursday): Today we carry on further to the southern parts of Namibia along the Namib Naukluft Park to the Guest farm Dabis; Learn about a farmers lifestyle and the way to live in the harsh desert environment at Dabis Guest Farm (or alternatively Sinclair Guest Farm or Helmeringhausen Hotel). Included: (B), (D).

Day 4 (Friday): Travel further south to the historic harbour town Luderitz. Short city orientation and time for shopping; Your guide will take you to explore the various desolated bays around Luderitzbucht and Diaz Point; overnight at the Nest Hotel in Luderitz on Bed/Breakfast basis.

Day 5 (Saturday): Visit the abandoned diamond mining town Kolmanskop and carry on via Aus and Seeheim to the second largest canyon in the world - the Fish River Canyon; explore the surrounding wilderness area on foot and enjoy the magnificent vistas of the Canyon. Overnight at Canyon Lodge or Canyon Roadhouse. Included: (B), (D).

Day 6 (Sunday): Departure back to Windhoek (650km) with a sightseeing stop at the Quiver Tree Forest near Keetmanshoop; Arrival after the 700 km journey back in Windhoek in the early afternoon. End of services.

Airfare is not included in the tour price.
