Extensive classroom training will prepare you for your first AFF skydive (level one). On that skydive two highly skilled and specially trained instructors will hold on to you from your exit at up to 13,000 feet until you deploy your parachute at 4,500 feet. A ground instructor will then talk to you by radio and assist you as you steer your parachute to the target landing area.
Your instructors will coach you in freefall, as well as on the ground, before and after your skydive. Subsequent AFF training levels are designed to add to your skills and self-confidence. After successfully completing levels one two and three with two instructors, you will then complete levels four through seven with one instructor. After completion of level seven you will then qualify for solo skydives. You will possess aerial skills that would have taken dozens, sometimes hundreds of skydives to learn via the conventional static line method! Twenty five jumps are required for a license. After obtaining a license your jump cost will be reduced, because you will no longer need an instructor in the airplane with you. If you continue in the sport, you may eventually become an instructor yourself. Most of our instructors made their first jumps right here at Canton Air Sports. First AFF Skydive Gift Certificate includes: - Instruction - Use of Equipment - One Skydive and Log Book The Certificate will be sent first class mail unless you need Priority or Express Mail. Member discount: Notes: Reservations are recommended and require a $30 "non-refundable" deposit per person. You do not need a deposit if you have paid full price, or have a Gift Certificate. Your deposit is fully deductible from your total cost.
