Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Makassar Transfer from Makassar to Torajaland. We will lunch on our way in Pare Pare. At the end of the afternoon we will check in our local accommodation in Toraja. Day 2: Toraja Tour After breakfast we will have the first Toraja tour. We will visit Lemo, Londa, Suaya, Makale and Makula. We will lunch on our way at a local restaurant. After the lunch we will visit Kete Kesu. This is a famous village because, they have the cemetery caves, and you will see a lot of scales, bones and coffins. You will go into the cave and you will see the real Toraja Culture. You will discover the mysterious secrete of the Baby Trees in Suaya. If we are lucky we can visit a traditional funeral ceremony. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 3: Toraja Tour After we enjoyed our breakfast we will start with a full day Toraja excursion visiting Siguntu, Pallawa, Sa’dan village and Batutumonga. We will visit a unique Toraja Funeral ceremony. Our lunch will be served at a local restaurant in the mountains of Batutumonga with a magnificent panorama view over Rantepao. Dinner at the hotel. Day 4: Toraja – Makassar Early after our breakfast we will check out and return to Makassar where go to our next destination….. End of this program. Notes: Return air ticket from Jakarta (CGK) or Denpasar (DPS) to Makassar (UPG) around 100 USD.
