Tour Itinerary:
Day 1: Ankara - Cappadocia Program Pick up from hotels. Transfer to the airport. Fly to Ankara. Tour starts in the morning with the tour of Ankara. The first site is the Museum of Anatolian Civilizations which is located in a restored bazaar. The museum has the most unique and priceless collection dating back to the Prehistoric Era. The Mausoleum of Atatürk is the next stop. This magnificent structure serves as a tribute to the founder of modern Turkey. Lunch will be taken in Ankara and the drive for Cappadocia will start after lunch. Dinner and overnight is at the hotel in Cappadocia. Day 2: Cappadocia Program Breakfast will be served at the hotel and the full day tour of Cappadocia begins with the natural citadel of Uçhisar which will enable you to get a panaromic view of the region and continues with the Göreme valley which is the highlight of the day. This valley houses, the Göreme open air museum with its churches hewn out of rock and the colorful frescoes which decorate them. The next stop is Zelve and the caves of this ancient village continuing with the Avanos and Çavusin villages. Lunch will be served enroute at a typical regional restaurant Dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Cappadocia. Day 3: Cappadocia Program Breakfast will be served at the hotel and the second full day tour of Cappadocia begins with the Soganli Village which is the most interesting part of the region. At this site you will be able to see the everday life of a small Cappadocian village with its churches and its authenticity. The next visit will be to Ortahisar which is one of the highest points of the area and you will get a full view of this spectacular volcanic region. Lunch will be served enroute as dinner and overnight will be at the hotel in Cappadocia. Day 4: Cappadocia - Ankara Program Breakfast will be taken at the hotel and the morning visits will begin with the underground city of Kaymakli or Derinkuyu which are refuges carved out in the early Christian Era as safe-heavens from persecutors. You will then continue onto the Ihlara valley, famous for its churches decorated with frescoes with a unique style and further more its landscape of the canyon. Lunch will be taken on the way to Ankara. After arrival in Ankara you will be transferred to your departure sites. Notes: Price Includes:
