This is an all day adventure to the active volcano Rincon de le Vieja. We drive up to the capital city of Liberia where we start climbing up into the surrounding volcano and arrive at Buena Vista Lodge. Here we mount horses and take a nature trail down to the hot springs and mud pots. We enjoy the hot mud spa and swim in the crystal clear springs. We walk to a spectacular waterfall before we ride back to the Lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon there is an option of experiencing the exhilarating canopy tour over the treetops, sliding down a giant water slide, or going on a nature hike. This area is abundant with wildlife, exotic tropical birds like toucans and macaws. This tour includes pick up from a local hotel by a bilingual guide, horseback ride to mud spa, lunch, and nature hike $95 with canopy and water slides $140 per person.
