We organize tours on several types of boats. Several different programs are offered. One of the most popular is possible to do in a regional boat with hammocks or in a launch with cabins and air conditioning. You will visit many exotic places around Manaus. You will set out from Manaus for the Rio Solimões (white water) and return to the Rio Negro (black water) by a small tributary. On the third day you will reach the largest river archipelago in the world, The Arquipelago das Anavilhanas, containing hundreds of islands.
Basic Rainforest Tour (3 days, 2 nights) Day 1 - Leave at 9:00 a.m. from the Floating Docks; - set out for the Meeting of the Waters; - see the dolphins (Botos); - visit the giant Water Lilies; - visit the Indian handicraft exposition; - have lunch on board; - navigate to Paricatuba on the Rio Negro (see map, C); - Piranha Fishing with motorized or paddle canoe; - have dinner on board; - Alligator Flashing after dark; - stay overnight on board in Hammocks; Day 2 - have breakfast; - take jungle walk on Rio Negro to see trees and medicinal plants; - have lunch on board; - go up the Rio Negro to a place called Ponta do Araras (see map, D); - take a canoe ride on the Igarapés; - have dinner on board; - go Spear Fishing in the Igapós after dark; - stay overnight on board in Hammocks; Day 3 - have breakfast; - continue on to the Arquipélago das Anavilhanas; During the dry season: - explore the beaches and islands; - bathe in the river; During the wet season: - take a canoe ride into the islands to see native fauna; - have lunch on board; - return to Manaus at 5:00 p.m. Notes: Prices upon request.
