Day 1: Sfo - Beijing. Depart from SFO by Air China or United Airlines’ wide body jetliner to Beijing. Cross the International Date Line and lose a day. Day 2: Arrive Beijing. Arrive in Beijing, capital of China, transfer to the five-star Jade Palace Hotel or similar. Day 3: Beijing. Visit Tienanmen Square, Forbidden City, the residence of emperors for more than 500 years. The Summer Palace, a summer resort for Empress Dowage Ci Xi, and Temple of Heaven where the emperors once prayed for good harvests. Includes: (B), (L), (D). Day 4: Beijing. After breakfast, take flight to Shanghai, then coach to Suzhou. Transfer to new Five-star Grand Metro Park Hotel or similar.
