The Everest Base Camp trek is a tough and demanding climb but not technical and should not be beyond most competent walkers. The base camp is the starting point for many of the expeditions to take on the summit. Our itineraries are carefully designed to ensure you have adequate time to acclimatise comfortably, thereby enjoying the trekking experience to the full. Optionally, the return trek can be arranged via the Chola Pass, Gokyo, Renjo Pass, and Thame route. Day 1: Kathmandu - Lukla by air and trek to Pakdingma. Altitude: 2600 m.
Day 2: Pakdingma -Namche Bazar. Altitude: 3440 m.
Day 3: Namche - Khumjung.
Day 4: Namche - Tengboche. Altitude: 3867 m.
Day 5: Tengboche - Dingboche. Altitude: 4350 m.
Day 6: Chukung - Chukung Ri. Altitude acclimatization day.
Day 7: Dingboche - Lobuche. Altitude: 4930 m.
Day 8: Lobuche - Gorakshep. Altitude: 5160 m.
Day 9: Gorakshep - Kalla Pattar. Altitude: 5445 m.
Day 10: Gorakshep - Pheriche. Altitude: 4440 m.
Day 11: Pheriche - Namche. Altitude: 3440 m.
Day 12: Namche - Lukla. Altitude: 2800 m.
Day 13: Lukla - Kathmandu. Altitude: 1400 m.
