What makes our package special is that we can offer you the opportunity to use this fabulous resort as your base from which to explore not only the Kruger Park, but also the scenic province of Mpumalanga and even Swaziland
One full day game drive on an open safari vehicle in the Kruger Park is included in the rate. A guided day tour of the Panorama Route is also included in the tour price, departing from the hotel. The rest of the time is yours to spend at your leisure.
The scenic Panorama Route is famous for its spectacular views, waterfalls and beautiful rock formations. You can also visit an African craft market and cultural village nearby.
Various optional extras can be arranged, including guided bush walks in the Kruger Park, and night drives with powerful search lights on an open safari vehicle, looking for leopards, lions and other nocturnal animals. A variety of adventure activities are available in the area, as well as hot air balloon flights, horse trails and even elephant back rides.
There is no fixed itinerary for this semi-guided safari. The itinerary below is an example and can be adjusted to suit your requirements.
Day 1: The safari departs from the Nelspruit airport in Mpumalanga, which is close to the Kruger National Park. Daily flights can be booked from Johannesburg to Nelspruit, on a number of different airlines. You will be met at the airport upon arrival and transferred to the hotel resort, on the border of the Kruger National Park. Take the afternoon to settle in and explore your surroundings. Dinner will be announced by drumbeat.
Day 2: We rise before the sun to enjoy a full day game drive in the Kruger National Park, or perhaps a morning and afternoon game drive if you prefer. The day is filled with the excitement of seeing Africa's wildlife in their natural habitat, from the comfort of an air-conditioned vehicle. Whether it's lion, elephant, giraffe or the variety of birds and smaller animals that can be seen, we guarantee you a fascinating and satisfying safari experience in this vast African wilderness area. While looking for the big 5 and other wildlife, we stop at waterholes, view points and picnic sites where you can stretch your legs and enjoy some refreshments.
Day 3: Today is devoted to a tour of the spectacular Panorama Route, the most scenic part of the Lowveld. We visit God's Window and other breathtaking view points, Bourke's Luck potholes, the Blyde River Canyon, various magnificent waterfalls and more. We return to the hotel resort around sunset.
Day 4-5: Spend the day at leisure to explore and enjoy the many facilities on offer at the resort, or perhaps book an extra game drive, day tour or one of the optional activities available in the area.
Day 6: After a relaxed breakfast at the lodge, it is time to pack up and be transferred back to Nelspruit airport, in time for your flight to your next destination.
Price upon request.
