Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival in Copenhagen. We transfer you from the airport to the lovely city of Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark. Denmark is the smallest of the Scandinavian countries, located on the peninsula of Jylland, bordering Germany, and on about 500 islands. Copenhagen got its name from the word "köbenhavn", which means "Merchants harbour". We transfer you to the hotel on arrival. Spend the rest of the day discovering the charm of Copenhagen on your own. There are the royal castles, the parks, the squares and the plazas, and not least, like a precious gem, Nyhavn, the New Harbour. The statue of the "Little Mermaid" is a favorite with most visitors.

Day 2: Copenhagen. The lovely city of Copenhagen, is the capital of Denmark. Copenhagen got its name from the word "köbenhavn", which means "Merchants harbor". It is a captivating, friendly city where there is always something wonderful around the next corner - to see, smell, taste, feel or listen to. There are the royal castles, the parks, the squares and the plazas, and not least, like a precious gem, Nyhavn, the New Harbor. Discover the architecture and museums which are famous all over the world. We start by visiting the Town Hall a good place to start exploration in any direction.

Noble statues stand at its entry, on its roof and inside, where, among others, the writer Hans Christian Andersen and the Nobel Prize-winning physicist Niels Bohr are honored. We visit Jens Olsen's World Clock, with its exact calibration, in the lower portion of the Town Hall Tower. Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek Houses both a stunning classical collection and, somewhat incongruously, an assemblage of Danish impressionist and postimpressionist art. The building itself is a work of art and merits a visit (the central palm garden with murmuring fountains was cleverly designed to offer museum visitors a place to relax). We also visit The National Museum of Denmark / National Gallery and let's not forget The Little Mermaid, inspired by Hans Christian Andersen's fairytale. The statue of the "Little Mermaid" is a favourite with most visitors.

Day 3: Gothenburg. In the morning we start our journey through the picturesque Wetern coast of Sweden to arrive in Sweden's second largest city Gothenburg (Göteborg). We arrive there in the afternoon and spend sometime to discover the town on our own. Gothenburg is a friendly, cosmopolitan, relaxed city situated on the rugged, west coast offering cultural experiences, beautiful countryside, natural gateway to the west and birth place to the famous Volvo cars.

Day 4: Gothenburg - Oslo. Just sit back and let us show you around the best of gardens like Slottskogen. With 274 acres, this is the largest park in Gothenburg. First laid out in 1874 in a naturally wooded area, today it has beautiful walks, animal enclosures, a saltwater pool, bird ponds, and an aviary, as well as a children's zoo (open May to August). We also visit the famous Liseberg Amusement park. A variety of events and entertainment take place here in summer. We view the harbor part of which is connected by an overhead walkway to the shopping mall of Nordstan. In the evening, we start a three hours bus / train journey for Oslo.

Day 5: Oslo. The port town of Oslo is the capital of Norway. Oslo celebrated its 1000 year anniversary in the year 2000. Until 1814, it was known as Christiania after the Danish-Norwegian king. The city is beautifully situated at the head of Oslo Fjord surrounded by forested ridges, and this very location gives Oslo unexpected qualities for a national capital. We start the day by exploring the Royal Palace, the City Hall, the Akershus fortress. Spend some time on the famous walking street Karl Johan Gate. In the afternoon, we visit the controversial Vigeland Sculpture park and the Holmenkollen Ski Museum. You may also like to explore some of the exclusive boutiques on the Bogstadveien street in Majorstuen area at your own disposal.

Day 6: Bergen. After breakfast, we start a day long journey by train to Bergen crossing many picturesque places. The picturesque Bergen is UNESCO World Heritage city, surrounded by seven mountains and opening out into the sea. The small, wooden houses cling to the hillside overlooking the city. Due to the Gulf Stream, Bergen is blessed by a surprisingly warm climate. By evening we reach Bergen and rest for the day in our hotel.

Day 7: Bergen. Sightseeing starts with a walking tour to the Old Bryggen wharf and discover 900 years of Bergen's history through the ancient buildings and wooden houses, we also visit the Fish Market. After lunch we take the Floibanen Funicular to the top of Mt. Floyen with a marvelous view of the city. During summers the restaurant at top of the mountain is opened daily.

Day 8: Departure. After breakfast spend the day in discovering Bergen on your own and await transfer to your onward destination.
