Our journey begins in India’s capital city of Delhi, where we visit some of the most famous historical and religious monuments. Next, we head towards the powerful medieval city of Agra to visit the Taj Mahal, located on the right bank of River Yamuna, and other architectural wonders of the Mughal era.
Later, we move westwards to the desert state of Rajasthan to visit Jaipur, the state capital. Also referred to as the "Pink City", Jaipur offers to see a number of splendid forts and palaces, apart from royal museums. After an elephant ride at the Amber Fort and more sightseeing, we take a leisurely stroll through the craft markets of the city to pick exquisite souvenirs from the region. Finally, we head back to Delhi. Notes:
