Choose your ultimate flying adventure – anything from extreme adrenaline-filled aerobatics with up to +6 and -3 Gs at over 300 kph, to a striking scenic flight over the Queenstown Basin with a difference. Strapped inside the ultimate aerobatics aircraft, the Pitts Special, you’ll experience the world as you’ve never seen it.

- Scenic
Soar gracefully along the ridges of the Remarkable Ranges towards Kingston and over Lake Wakatipu. Soak up breathtaking views of the lake and Queenstown and marvel at the smooth clear air. Once you’re feeling comfortable you may want to see all this upside down but hey, it’s up to you at the time. No pressure.

- Aerobatic
You’re settled in and feeling great. The air is so smooth and you’re ready to ramp up our experience. Start with some smooth gentle loops and a couple of easy rolls. Feeling great? It’s so smooth that you want to see more.

- Adrenaline Filled
You will have watched the Red Bull Air Race on TV – this is what you can do right here with us. Twist, turn and feel G forces that you thought could only ever be experienced by a few specialized pilots. See the world spin like crazy, watch the mountains turn to lake turn to air and back again in the blink of an eye. Not for the faint hearted but an experience unique for us and one you couldn’t possibly forget!

- On the day
Your adventure begins with complimentary return transfers from Queenstown with a pick-up and drop-off service at Duke St, opposite Info and Track. From there, it’s straight to the Wakatipu Aero Club where you’ll receive a warm and friendly welcome and pre-flight briefing from our team of our expert pilots.

- Conditions
- Maximum weight 114 kg
- Must be medically fit
- Maximum of 4 passengers for transfers
- Transfers. Transfers leave within 5 minutes of nominated time

Airfare is not included in the tour price.

- A DVD of your adventure can be purchased for $85
- An in flight photo of your flight can be purchased for $35

Notes: All aerobatic adventure flights are 15-20mins in duration, set aside 1 hour for your experience. We provide complimentary transfers to and from the airport from behind the Station Building in Queenstown for a maximum of 4 people. We have a full range of merchandise on site. Extended flights are available for $100 for an extra 10 minutes flight time.
