Sunfish Charters Limited specializes in Big Game Fishing, Deep Sea Fishing, Diving and Sports Fishing. We offer a personalized service on half-day trips, day trips, overnight trips, as well as extended live-aboard charters, catering for novice and experienced anglers, dive enthusiasts, and sightseeing groups as well as corporate functions.
Our vessel, Sunfish 1 is a powerful 12 m purpose-built Sportsfisher, designed for offshore operation with a big 110sq ft cockpit that can comfortably accommodate 7 anglers or 8 divers. Her wide beam offers a safe and stable platform for fishing or relaxing and has a fighting chair to help land that big one. We are licensed to carry up to 18 passengers in enclosed waters, 12 passengers in inshore waters and up to 6 on overnight and extended trips. The boat is maintained under "Safe Ship Management" and carries safety and communication equipment in excess of maritime requirements.

- The charter price for fishing trips includes the use of the latest top class fishing gear for big game and bottom fishing but you are also welcome to bring along your own fishing equipment and other supplies of your choice. You are free to arrange your own catering but we can provide full catering for $40 per person per day.
- Minimum per person price quoted: NZ$120.00 (based on 12 sharing)
- Maximum per person price quoted: NZ$480.00 (based on 4 sharing)
- All of our prices are in NZ$ and are inclusive of GST.
