Day 1: Arrival in Rio de Janeiro. Arrival in Rio de Janeiro and transfer to the hotel. In the afternoon, we suggest the Tour Rio Special. Special because in one tour only, you visit the Botanical Garden, the favorite hideaway for nature-lovers, sweethearts and all those seeking peace, tranquility and Maracanã, the world's largest sports stadium and an irresistible attraction for visitors to Rio.
Day 2: Rio de Janeiro. Morning free to enjoy the marvelous beaches. In the afternoon, Sugar loaf tour / City tour: After picking you up at your hotel, the coach continues to downtown Rio, passing by the principal points of interest, including the Cathedral, in the heart of this enchanting city. The tour then continues to the foot of the Sugar Loaf - "Praia Vermelha" area - where you are taken by cable-car to the mountain-top (ticket is included). Once there, you will enjoy the magnificent view as the sun sets over Copacabana Beach, before riding down again, and returning by coach to your hotel.
Day 3: Rio de Janeiro. In the morning, we propose the Corcovado and Tijuca Forest tour: After picking you up at your hotel, the tour will continue to the Cosme Velho for a journey through the dense Atlantic Rain Forest of Tijuca, to the Christ Statue on Corcovado Mountain. The guide will show you the wonderful sights of Rio. The tour continues to São Conrado and Pepino Beaches where the hang gliders land and, by noon, you are back at the hotel. Afternoon free to relax and enjoy this marvelous city by yourself. In the evening, we recommend Rio by night: Stop for a dinner at an excellent barbecue restaurant where a succulent choice of meats is brought to the table on long spits. Then on to a wonderful, colorful, lively Brazilian variety, folklore and samba show at Plataforma. Afterward, back to the hotel.
Day 4: Rio de Janeiro - Foz do Iguaçú. After breakfast transfer to the airport. Arrival in Iguassu, reception and transfer to the hotel. The day is free to take a stroll through the town.
Day 5: Foz do Iguaçú. After breakfast, we are going to visit the waterfalls on the Brazilian side. The falls are one of the eight most fascinating waterfalls in the world. The water volume is immense, and the steam, produced by the falls, covers the neighborhood, which causes the surrounding forest to be always humid and exuberant. A 1 kilometer long gangway takes us near the falls, from where we have a splendid panoramic view of all the waterfalls. The same afternoon we shall make a trip that cannot be missed: Macuco Safari by boat. Return to the hotel.
Day 6: Foz do Iguaçú - Salvador. Right after breakfast we will depart in order to visit the waterfalls from the Argentinean side, where from you will have the opportunity to appreciate this view from a completely new angle (Visa is needed to some Nationalities). Lunch. In the afternoon transfer to the airport. Arrival in Salvador and transfer to hotel.
Day 7: Salvador. After breakfast, we suggest a sightseeing tour : we'll start our tour at Farol da Barra. We'll have a look at the most interesting and picturesque sightseeing of the city, with a stop at Modelo market and at the famous church Senhor do Bonfim. A good idea in the evening would be Salvador by night: In the evening city tour through the city-center with a stop at Pelourinho. We'll get to know its history and spend some time at the bars and have dinner there.
Day 8: Salvador. Morning free to explore Salvador by yourself. In the afternoon, Historical sightseeing. We'll have a summary of the history of Salvador. Its past had a lot of influence of the first settlers, there are fantastic churches, the well known Pelourinho and a lot more.
Day 9: Salvador - Pantanal. After breakfast transfer to the airport. Arrival in Campo Grande, reception at the airport and leaving for the Pantanal. Arrival, and accommodation at the "fazenda", dinner.
Day 10: Pantanal. After breakfast, horse riding in the neighborhood; lunch; in the afternoon we take a boat for fishing; dinner.
Day 11: Pantanal. After breakfast we leave by boat in order to observe and get acquainted with the fauna and flora of Pantanal; after lunch horseback riding; dinner.
Day 12: Pantanal - Bonito. After breakfast we take a trip in the region. Right after lunch we leave for Bonito. Arrival and check-in at the hotel; dinner.
Day 13: Bonito: Grotto of the "Lago Azul" - Boating in the Formoso River. Right in the morning we visit "Lago Azul" grotto with its beautiful lake. In the afternoon we leave for the Formoso river, where - during a trajectory of a few kilometers - we will explore, while rafting, its course and its waterfalls. On the shores of the river we will watch monkeys, toucans and macaws. There, immediately below the boat, a shoal of fishes - swimming in the limpid water - is escorting us. At the end of the trajectory we arrive at Padre Island; return to the town, dinner.
Day 14: Bonito: Rio da Prata. We walk along a trail in a primary forest, among centennial perobas, "angicos", pepper trees, chestnut trees and others. The local rivers invite us to dive from the spring-heads of the Olho D'Agua river until its bar at the Rio da Prata river, always accompanied by shoal of fishes. We have our lunch right there and return towards evening. Dinner.
Day 15: Bonito - Rio de Janeiro. After breakfast, departure for Campo Grande (airport). Arrival in Rio, transfer to the hotel.
Day 16: Rio de Janeiro. Free day to enjoy yourself. Transfer to the airport. Bye-bye Brazil!
