Paddling Distance: 8 n.m.
We launch from the picturesque village of Fiskardo and we cross to Ithaca. We paddle along Aphales bay with the spectacular white limestone cliffs and secluded white sand beaches and turquoise waters. The place here is ideal for snorkelling as it offers beautiful underwater rock formations and rich mediterranean water life.
We continue paddling on the east side of Ithaca and overnight in the village of Frikes.

Day 3
Itinerary: Frikes - Vasiliki (Lefkada) - Sivota (Lefkada)
Paddling Distance: 9 n.m.
We cross with the ferry to Vasiliki, on Lefkada island. From there, we paddle along the coast until we reach Sivota, a tranquille, small yachting port at the end of a beautiful one mile long fjord.
We have our dinner in a traditional local tavern and overnight in very nice appartments with a view over the whole bay.

Day 4
Itinerary: Sivota - Spartahori (Meganisi)
Paddling Distance: 9 nautical miles
It is a relaxed morning in the village of Sivota. After our breakfast we kayak in the beautiful straight between Lefkada and Meganisi, towards 'Papanicolis' cave. The cave was used by the greek submarine 'Papanicolis' during the war times as a natural resort. We land in the sandy beach inside the cave where we have a swimming and lunch break.
We continue kayaking and reach Spartahori where we stay for the next two days.
In the evening, before the dinner, we go for a walk to the village. Untouched by the time, gives a glimpse into how Greece used to be years ago. Strolling around the maze-like narrow alleys of the village is like a journey in the past...

Day 5
Itinerary: Spartahori - Skorpios - Spartahori (Meganisi)
Paddling Distance: 8 nautical miles
This is a relaxed day. We kayak to Skorpios, the famous Onassis' island. We circumnavigate it admiring its beauty, a combination of wild and lush mediterranean forest and equisitely manicured gardens. After a stop there, we return to our accommodation in Spartahori.

Day 6
Itinerary: Spartahori - Kalamos
Paddling Distance: 14 nautical miles
We paddle along the lacy coast of north Meganisi. After a short stop for swimming we set off for a 5-mile crossing to Kalamos.
We paddle along the beautiful, forested (mediterranean pine) north coast of Kalamos. We land for a swimming break in a beautiful pebble beach with crystal clear waters near Kalamos village.
We settle in our accommodation and walk to the small village of Kalamos for our dinner.

Day 7
Itinerary: Kalamos - Kastos - Atokos - Vathi (Ithaca)
Paddling Distance: 11 nautical miles
After our early morning swimming, we start paddling to Kastos, another little island one mile off Kalamos. We approach its north part and we paddle along its east coast with the impressive layered rock formations. We stop for a visit in the remote and lonely little village of the island for a typical greek iced coffee.
After a swimming and lunch stop, we paddle to Atokos, a 5-mile crosssing. Atokos, is a beautiful uninhabited islet with turquoise waters.
We get transered with support boat to Vathi, the capital of Ihaca. It is a typical Ionian town, built in the depths of a uniquely shaped fjord-like natural bay. It is indisputably one of the most picturesque natural ports in Greece.
Our appartments are perfectly situated over the bay, enjoying one of the best possible views.

Day 8
Itinerary: Ithaca day
Paddling Distance: no paddling today
Today it is the Ithaca day. After a glorious, home made breakfast prepared by Mrs Nitsa, the owner of the appartments, we take a break from paddling and have the option either to relax and have a free day on the island or come with us and enjoy the beauties of the island. Visit to Odysseus' museum, Katharon monastery, as well as short hikes and visit of places with astonishing views are some of our optional activities today.

Day 9
Itinerary: Vathi - Kioni - Fiskardo
Paddling Distance: 10 nautical miles
Starting from Kioni, we paddle along the north coast of Ithaki towards Fiskardo. In the way, we can do a stop for some nice cliff jumping in the deep and crystal clear waters.
We enter the peaceful and beautiful Fiskardo bay, where we started our trip from. Our bus takes us to our base in south Kefalonia.
Full of new experiences and memories, we go for a 'goodbye' dinner. We overnight in the same nice appartments where we stayed the arrival day.
