Arrowpoint is an Eco Tourism facility that offers guest an unforgettable good experience. It is a located in the Amerindian Reservation of Santa Mission which has a population of approximately four hundred (400) Arawak Indians and boasts Guyana’s only EPA permit for a Resort. A forty-five minutes (45min) boat ride along the meaning black waters of the Kamuni Creek, passing under overhanging Jungle vegetation, conveys the tourist to this jungle paradise. Aquatic activities; mountain biking; hiking; bird watching; and an array of outdoor and indoor games are some of the activities offered at this resort. At night it is transform into an arena of lights provided by flambeaus. Dinner is served on the beach around a large, crackling bonfire. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Spend 2 hrs on the ground at Kaieteur before re boarding our plane for your flight back to Timehri Airport. Transfer by bus to our Marian where you will board our boat for a 45min river trip to Arrowpoint Nature Resort where you will be greeted by our friendly staff offering a welcome drink and be briefed on the history and safety of the resort. After you have been shown to your accommodations and after lunch, Relax and enjoy the sound of the birds returning for the evening and watch the sun set etc. Dinner will be served buffet style before the Creatures of the Night Expedition - experience a different scenario with nature using headlight in search for wildlife that is not usually seen at day time Day 2: Awake to the beautiful sound of the birds chirping, you have the choice of sleeping in, going bird watching or going fishing with our guides. Breakfast is served on the veranda at 07:30. After breakfast you can relax in the cool water or sunbathe and at 10:00 we will take you on our Wabani Expedition, on your return a fabulous buffet lunch awaits you. If you wish after lunch we offer various levels of mountain biking (ask tour coordinator) or simply relax on the beach. At 14:30hrs our staff will demonstrate the cassava bread making Amerindian style and you will be able to taste the bread when finished. You will arrive back at 18:00.
