Day 1: Nairobi / Maasai Mara. Depart for the Maasai Mara through the Kikuyu farmlands and rift valley, enjoying the panoramic views with a stop for lunch at Narok. Arrive in time for an afternoon game drive. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge. Day 2: Maasai Mara. Full day is spent viewing game in search of Lion, Elephant, Leopard, Cheetah, as well as Rhino, large variety of antelopes and other plains animals. Break for lunch at the Hippo pool of Mara River to see crocodiles and hippos. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge. Day 3: Maasai Mara. Depart for a morning game drive to return for a hot lunch at the camp / lodge. Afternoon spent at leisure or you can visit the Maasai village or take a nature walk. Dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge. Day 4: Maasai Mara / Nakuru. Enjoy a pre-breakfast game drive, return for breakfast then return for Nakuru stopping for lunch en-route. Dinner and overnight at Nakuru camp / lodge. Lake Baringo. Day 5: Lakes Bogoria and Baringo Have breakfast at 6:30 am to depart for a day trip to visit both lakes Bogoria and Baringo. At Lake Bogoria, visit the hot springs and geysers, also a feeding grounds of thousands of lesser flamingos. Animals sighted are greater kudu, antelopes, gazelles. Care should be taken at the hot spring s as they are super hot and the ground is slippery. After lunch visit Lake Baringo where you can arrange for a boat ride on this fresh water lake to see the fish eagles, pelicans, cosmo rants and herons. Crocodiles and hippos are common too. Return to Nakuru in the early evening for dinner and overnight at the camp / lodge. Day 6: Lake Nakuru National Park, Menengai Crater and Lake Elementaita After breakfast visit the Lake Nakuru National Park. Here you get to see the world famous flamingos in their thousands. Lake Nakuru National Park is coded 'The Bird Watcher's Paradise". There are well over 400 bird species well as other animal species. Lunch at the hotel. After lunch go over to the Menengai Crater for a great panoramic experience. Go over to lake Elementaita for a boating experience. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Day 7: Nakuru / Nairobi Depart after breakfast for Nairobi. Check in at Nairobi hotel, followed by lunch. After lunch go over to the Nairobi National Park. Find the there all the big five except the Elephant. Excursions around the city to see city landmarks. Visit the Giraffe center and the Ostrich farm. Dinner and overnight at the hotel. Notes:
