In the passes and channels you will sometimes come across the famous milkfish, which here grow to an incredible size. You’ll meet the biggest fish on the barrier reef: more GTs as well as lutjans, barracudas, several varieties of grouper, job fish and napoleons etc. In bluewater are wahoos and sailfish, as well as several varieties of tuna that hunt along the drop. By now we’re sure you’ve understood that Farquhar is an isolated sanctuary teaming with an amazing wealth of wildlife. An archipelago at the end of the world where anything is possible when you’ve got a rod in your hand. Tour Itinerary: Day 1: As soon as you land in Mahé - Seychelles - you will appreciate the beauty of the unique Archipelago. You will then take a 2 hours charter flight to reach the boat waiting for you on a remote and untouched lagoon: Farquhar 450 nautical miles south from Main Island. Days 1-7: Arriving Farquhar usually in the morning, the captain will welcome you on board of MVIllusions which will be your fishing lodge for the next 7 days. Two larges 18 feet rubber boats and two fishing guides will take you around the atoll as well as outside to experiment the Farquhar fantastic fishing while the cook will get three meals a day ready for you. Day 8: You will fly back to Mahé looking forward your next trip to this Indian ocean fishing paradise.
