Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Tripoli – Sebha – Ubari. Arrive at Tripoli International Airport, and transit for a domestic flight to Sebha. Arrival, transfer to Ubari. Welcome dinner and night over.

Day 2: Ubari – Gaberoun Oasis Lake. After breakfast. Departure to witness the most beautiful desert lakes. There are at least 11 lakes in this area, deep out into the softest and largest sandy desert (Um el Maa Oasis, Mandara Lake, Gebraoun Lake etc). Crossing the Ubari Dunes. Lunch on the desert. Dinner and night over in Ubari.

Day 3: Germa – Akakus. After breakfast, departure to visit the capital of the Garaments. Lunch. Continuation to Akakus. Dinner and night over. Camping at campsite.

Day 4-5: The Acacus Mountains. Two full days to discover the Akakus Mountains. Explore some of the many hundreds of wadis. Visit prehistoric caves and meet some of the Tuareg still living a traditional life in Akakus. Drive through other-wordly, stopping to look at the prehistoric rock art depicting scenes of life prior to the desertification of the Sahara. Dinner and night over in camp.

Day 6: Akakus – Sebha – Tripoli. Drive to Sabha and then flying back to Tripoli, overnight at hotel in Tripoli.

Day 7: Full day exploration of Tripoli

Sightseeing tour of Tripoli including the excellent National Museum, Marcus Aurelus Arch, Red Castle (Assai al-Hamra), Modern Medina including the Handicraft Market. Visit Museum of Tripoli is one of Essential attraction for sightseeing tour to Tripoli. Our local guide will accompany you and to enjoy listening to the interesting and a brief explanation about the ancient civilization. Our second point of the city sightseeing tour is visiting the Karamanly house which is one of the most important historical houses in the street of Arbaa Arsaat, then a walk in the Green Square, the Medina. Dinner in the city and overnight.

Day 8: Tripoli – Departure. At leisure until we transfer to the airport for a safe flight back home.
