Day 1: Arrival. Overnight at hotel in Sana’a. Day 2: Flight to Hadibu, capital of Socotra Island. Departure to Dilisha beach and Ayhaft valley. Overnight at hotel/Hadibu. Day 3: Departure from Hadibu to Dihamri Marine, one of the protected areas of the Island, which is located at a particularly gorgeous section of coral reef that makes for some of the best snorkeling on the Island. Overnight hotel Hadibu. Day 4: Departure to Qalansya beach and the Ditwa Protected Area: a small village in a shallow lagoon surrounded by mountains. On the way to Qalansya we stop at Kadama beach, a nesting site of sea turtles. Overnight camping in Qalansya beach. Day 5: Departure by boat to area of Ras Shu’ab, one of the best diving spot on Socotra. Departure to Haghir Mountains, a region with a beautiful fauna and flora, particularly the dragon’s blood tree forests. We reach the Diksam Plateau, an excellent area for viewing Socotran endemic birds) and the second mountain, 1500 above sea level. Overnight camping. Day 6: From Diksam Plateau we walk (30 minutes) down the slope to the base of Wadi Dirhur. The river that runs through the wadi forms natural swimming pools with small waterfalls, and it is permissibile to swim in them. Drive to Nuged. Overnight camping. Day 7: Nuged via wadi Jesfow: a beautiful garden with an amazing variety of trees. Overnight at hotel/Hadibu. Day 8 Departure to the protected area of Homhill. Trekking (2 hours) along the mountain and through the frankincense trees. Picnic at Roosh. Overnight camping. Day 9: From Roosch we drive to the Hoq Caves, which served as an important place for merchants as early as the 2nd century AD. Then we drive to Ras Ersel. Overnight at hotel/ Hadibu Day 10: Departure to Sana’a. Notes: Price Includes:
