Departure for Ganvie, the Venice of Africa. Receive a welcome reception by Ganvie fishermen. Ganvie tour to include lovers lane, floating market place, local school, and the handicrafts center. Dinner (at your own). Overnight at Sheraton Hotel. Day 3: Ouidah Tour. Breakfast and departure to Ouidah. Arrival in Ouidah, known as the former trading post center for Africans bound for the Americas and Haiti. Also known as the birthplace of the Voodoo Cult. Welcome: reception with Dagbo Hounon, Chief Superior of Voodoo Cult in Benin. Experience Voodoo Dances and traditional dancing ceremony. Lunch. Walk the road of the Slaves leading to the Magestic Memorial of Slavery at Zoungbodji. Back to Marina Hotel. Dinner at Maquis Pili-Pili and overnight at Marina Hotel. Day 5: Porto–Novo - Ketou - Abomey. Breakfast and early departure to Porto- Novo and Ketou. Arrival at Porto-Novo, the Administrative Capital of Benin and visit the Ethnographic Museum Adande and King Toffa Royal Palace. Welcome: reception with traditional dancers and Zangbetos (The Night Guardians). Depart to Ketou, cold meal on the way. Arrival at Ketou, the western capital of Yoruba land. Visit the King Palace, the Magic Gate (Museum of Ketou). Depart for Abomey, arrival at Sun City hotel. Dinner and overnight. Day 6: Abomey and Allada. Breakfast and departure to Allada, Birthplace of Toussaint Louverutre, native of Allada and Founding Hero of Haiti. Visit the Memorial of Toussaint Louverture. Welcome reception with courtesy visit to the Adjahouto Superior Chief (Family of Toussaint Louverutre). Experience traditional dancers. Departure to Abomey, the famous captial of the powerful kingdom of Dan-home. Lunch at Motel d’Abomey. Visit the place of Goho and the Museum of Antiquities.
