Day 1: Islamabad (600 m).
Arrival at Islamabad Transfer to hotel, afternoon visit of the twin towns of Islamabad and Rawalpindi. Evening presentation of the program.
Day 2: Chilas (1000 m).
Drive to Chilas by the Karakorum Highway (KKH).After Islamabad situated on the Potwar plateau (500 m) we will reach fresh hills and forested ridges whose cool climate attracts many people in summer. Abotabad (1220 m) was founded as a British garrison town in the 1850's. It’s one of the best Hill Station of the country.
Chilas on the edge of Indus River is famous for the petroglyphs. The oldest inscriptions dating of around first AD. Meals and overnight at hotel.
Day 3: Tarishing (2911 m).
Drive to Tarshing by jeep along the Astore River. Gurikot and Astore are the principal villages on the way. Tarshing at the end of the jeep road is a colored village surrounded by snowed summits and departure of our trek meals and overnight at camp.
Day 4: Latoba (4000 m).
You will cross Tarshing glacier, Bashin glacier and discover the Rupal villages in middle of green meadows. The campsite is a beautiful place in front of the Rupal face of Nanga Parbat. Most of glaciers in north Pakistan are recovered by thick cover of stones and gravel which gives them their black color in most of their course. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 5: Mazeno Base Camp (4200 m).
The path follows the northern lateral moraine of the Toshain glacier with views to Leila and Rupal peaks on one side and Nanga Parbat on the other. From the camp you can admire the 20 long km Toshain glacier that fills the whole head of the valley. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 6: Mazeno High Camp (4700 m).
The way goes up by steeps and gives excellent views of the huge mass of Nanga Parbat. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 7: Upper Loiba (4300 m).
The climb up is not difficult. The other side is a steady slope of about 300 m On glacier: ice on the first meters, then covered with gravel and stones. at the foot of the slope birch woods and green meadows are waiting for you. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 8: Airal (2900 m).
The path follows the Toshain Gah and crosses the bridge. The campsite is covered with lush green meadows. Cold bath in stream and feast for the summer day of the shepherds.

Day 9: Saire (2500 m).
Easy trek to descend until Zengot. After cross the bridge of Kachal Gah Walk up to Shair. Here colored fields of corn, potatoes and beans contrast with the sparkling glaciers falling from Nanga Parbat. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 10: Kachal (3000 m).
Short walk up to Kachal, which means green gardens. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 11: Nanga Parbat Base Camp (4200 m).
Easy walk. The first base camp is at 3850 m. The meadows with flowers of all colors look like painting of Van Gogh or Monet. The second Base Camp at 4250 m is the departure of most expeditions. A line of ridges culminating in ice crest of 8125 m forms the huge mountain. High ranked ninth highest peak in the world and second In Pakistan. Meals and overnight at camp.
Days 12-13: Nanga Parbat Base Camp.
Local exploration. En direct” with the climbers tempting the summit amongst avalanches and ice walls, or climbing Diamer peak or Ganalo peak, you will enjoy this impressive scene. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 14: Saire.
To come back to the KKH we will cross summer settlements. From May to September the villagers of the valley and their family will stay at high altitude with their animals. Crops of corn, potatoes, beans and vegetable cover every small flat surface until 3200 m. The deep slopes supporting forests until 3800 m. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 15: Diamoroi (1600 m).
The shaded campsite of Diamoroi will be our last night in Diamer valley. Fruit trees and grassy carpet near the stream. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 16: Fairy Meadows (3200 m).
Drive to Raikot Bridge where we transfer into jeep an hours drive we will reach the village of Tato, an easy walk takes through the thick pine forest to Fairy Meadows. At 3200 m Fairy Meadows is an alpine plateau offering wonderful views of the north face of Nanga Parbat. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 17: Beyal (3700 m).
After breakfast trek to Beyal which is a nice campsite near the Raikot glacier. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 18: Fairy Meadows.
Excursion to the Base Camp of the north face of Nanga Parbat. It will take about 3 hours to reach the place of departure of the first expeditions In the 1934's. There were German expeditions which try to reach the summit but the first success arrived only with expedition in 1953. Meals and overnight at camp.
Day 19: Besham (800 m).
Trek back to Tato and drive to Besham. Meals and overnight at hotel.
Day 20: Islamabad.
Drive to Islamabad, En route visit of Taxila Museum. Overnight at hotel.
Day 21: Islamabad.
On morning visit the bazaars of Rawalpindi. Afternoon free.
Day 22: Departure.
Transfer to airport for onward flight destinations.
