We depart at 16:15 p.m. from Leonsberg, located at the Suriname River, for a magical encounter with the Surinamese dolphins. During the three hour relaxing trip on the water, there is enough time to get close to these special animals. Mostly we see them swim by in groups up to 20 dolphins. Sometimes they’re very curious and when you see their shiny eyes above the water surface when they pass, it's likely that they have come out to play. When lucky they will jump and play close to the boat. Undoubtedly the experience will mesmerize you.
After having enjoyed this playful company we part for former plantation Johan and Margaretha where we will enjoy freshly made local snacks like barra, baka bana or eggroll while experiencing the beautiful sunset. All this takes place in a relaxing atmosphere of the old plantation village on a wooden deck near the waterfront of the Commewijne River. After the sun has set we will get back on board, poor you another drink, and slowly make our way back to Leonsberg. The captain will turn on his music and the lighting on board to make all this the ultimate relaxing experience. Notes: - Departure/return: 16:15 pm – 19:15 pm - If needed there are life jackets available on board. Notes: Prices:
