Brown Bear photography: The Brown Bear population in Estonia is 600 and rising. Their primary "home" is in Alutaguse, the large forested region that includes a national park and a bog in northeastern Estonia, close to the Russian border. Join us on this nature tour where we'll investigate the life, behavior and habitats of the Brown Bear. Good news: there's a 92% chance of seeing one of these spectacular predators, but other animals often come into viewing range, as well.
Our brown bear photography hide is the first in Estonia, offering a rare opportunity to see this forest-dweller at a close and safe distance. The hide is located in North-East Estonia in Alutaguse, an old, rich spruce forest. Click to see the map of the area. It's located on the edge of a clearing so light conditions are good. Four camera positions, two high, two lower, provide ample room for two photographers at the same time.
Accommodations: The Lux hide is comfortable and luxurious, with bunk beds and a dry toilet. There is enough room for three.
Airfare is not included in the tour price.

- Rental for one night, July - April: 77 EUR.
