Day 1: Sana'a Airport pick-up transfer to the hotel for check-in and tour to the old city of Sana'a. Overnight Sana'a. Day 2: Socotra Island Arrival at Socotra airport, transfer to the hotel at Hadibo (capital city of Socotra), after that we will make a trip to Ayheft Canyon National Park (Ayheft is considered as a natural nursery due to its large abundance of endemic trees and plants and birds) you will find fresh water pools, Tamarind trees and wide Somali Starling. After that you will go to Diylesha beach for swimming Dinner and overnight at the hotel in Hadibo. Day 3: Homhil Morning trip to Homhil - natural protected area rich of many endemic plants. 90 species have been identified in the area out of which seven are limited to Homhil. There are 4 natural trails designed for trekking with the best views of plants, animals and nature. Homhil is a home for many Dragon Blood Trees, which is used and traded by the people of Socotra .Frankincense trees are also prevalent here and deserve a close look. Dinner & Camping overnight at Homhil. Day 4: Wadi Shifa After breakfast at Homhil we hike down to wadi Shifa then from wadi Shifa driving to Arher beach on the north east coast, which is a meeting point of salt and fresh water We will enjoy swimming exploring this site. If after lunch you feeling fit then you will climb the huge sand dune to obtain a fantastic view. Dinner and overnight camp at Arher. Day 5: Huq Cave Today you’ll make an early start and drive to the base of Huq cave and make way up toward the cave entrance by foot. The cave itself is 205 kilometres long and holds a wealth of Socotri history. Inside you can find stalactites stalagmites and a rim pool. Ancients writing on the cave walls and also what appear to be a picture of an old trading ship that have been preserved over the ages by a calcite glaze. The cave was also used for ritual purpose by the presence of mysterious altera. After that drive to Dihamry - marine protected area. Dihamry is one of the best areas for snorkeling, with fully developed community full of coral, fish and shellfish. Groupers, Lobsters, Parrotfish, Sea Urchins and Turtles may also be found. We want to remind you not to touch the corals in the marine protected area. Dinner and overnight at Adeeb beach house in Hadibo. Day 6: Dicksam After breakfast will make our way to Dicksam plateau and shebahon view point. This area is renowned for the native Dragon Blood Tree rare the shebahon viewpoints gives a fabulous vista overlooking Daerhu Canyon where we will see unusual yet beautiful rock formations. We will then make our way down to a wadi in the Canyon to enjoy swimming in the natural swimming pools and for lunch after that head to south to see Dogub cave and end the day swimming on Indian Ocean Dinner & overnight camping at Aomak campsite. Day 7: Qalansyia After breakfast drive to Qalansyia to look around this charming and picturesque fishing town with its traditional houses and narrow alleyways. Then go to Ditwah Lagoon, which is a protected area and renowned for its spectacular landscape. Sting rays can be seen in the lagoon, so take care when swimming. There is also a large area of sea birds to be seen at this location, end the day swimming in the most beautiful beach of the Island. Dinner & overnight camping at Ditwah campsite. Day 8: Shu'ab After breakfast at Ditwah campsite we will take a boat ride to Shu'ab, be sure to look out for spinner Dolphins along the way. Cormorants also frequent the area. Once at Shu'ab we will have lunch & the afternoon is free to swim and enjoy this pristine beach setting complete with mangroves. In the late afternoon we take the boat ride back to Qalansyia. Line fishing may also be possible from the boat if you want fish for Dinner. Dinner and Overnight at the Hotel in Hoadibo. Day 9: Sana'a After breakfast transfer to the airport, fly back to Sana'a, airport pick-up transfer to the hotel for check-in, after lunch you will visit the House of Rock (Imam palace) and then end the day shopping at the Suqs. Overnight Sana'a at the hotel. Day 10: Home After Breakfast fly back home. Notes: Price Includes:
