Discovery of Cameroon the whole Africa in one country. Program: Ecotourism/traditions/adventure in Gorilla sanctuary (10 days/9 nights).

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Arrival at Douala. Arrival at Douala International airport - welcome and assistance by our guide and transfer to Vallée des princes hotel or similar (3*). Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Douala – Melong – Bouroukou (173 km). Breakfast and departure to Melong – On the way visit of Penja flowers garden and SNDP plantation where you can taste some tropical fruits – continuation towards Melong – stop at the Ekom water falls (pitoresque site where Christophe Lambert shoot the film Tarzan) – continuation to bouroukou and installation at villa Luciole Camp – lunch – in the afternoon drive or walk to the famous “Twin Lakes” with a local guide. You can also opt for an easy walk and visit some villages in the area. The twin crater lakes (the “male” and “female” lake) are still revered and visited by local people to profess their traditional religion, to pray and to make their sacrifices to their local gods – back to the Villa luciole Camp (very charm structure). Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Bouroukou – Bafoussam - Foumban (180 km). Breakfast and early departure to Bafoussam via Baham and bandjoun – Arrival at the end of the morning period to Baham – visit of the royal museum of Baham and next stop in Bandjoun a neighbour village to visit the Chieftainship museum – pursuit of trip and arrival at Bafoussam – Settling in Talhotel (2*) - Lunch – Afternoon trip to Founbam - visit of the palace and the museum of the Sultan Bamoum (listed by the UNESCO in the world heritage site )- Visit of the Arts and traditions museum of Bamoum and the artisanal village - End of the day. Trip back to Bafoussam for the diner and night.

Day 4: Bafoussam – Bamenda (75 km). Breakfast – Bafoussam city tour – Visit of the Metché waterfalls – Lunch and Departure to Bamenda – Arrival at Bamenda - Settling in the Ayaba hotel or similar – diner and overnight.

Day 5: Bamenda – Bamessing – Babungo – Bafut – Bamenda (80 km). Breakfast and departure to Bamessing – on the way short visit of bororros Sadga village – pursuit to Bamessing - visit of the artisanal pottery – Continuation to Babungo to visit the chief palace “aux trois mille masques”(one thousand craft) and its museum – Trip back to Bamenda for lunch – In the afternoon departure for Visit of the Chief Palace of Bafut, one of the oldest of the country – the guide of the visit is one of the King’s wife - Traditional dances performed by the princes and princesses – Trip back to Bamenda at the end of the day. Diner/Night.

Day 6: Bamenda – Yaounde (365 km). Breakfast and departure to Yaoundé – On the way back stop to the waterfall of Métchié and in Bangwa to pay a visit of courtesy to the youngest Bamilékés king (if available) – Lunch to Bangangté – continuing the trip to Yaoundé and arrival at the end of the afternoon – Settling inLuxtral hotel (3*) – diner and over night.

Day 7: Yaoundé – Mefou – Ebogo – Yaoundé (120 km). After breakfast, departure for the visit of the semi-natural park of Mefou; authentic sanctuary of chimpanzees, gorillas, baboons and other primates that live in a protected natural environment – the forest walking tour (One to two hours) – next departure for Ebogo, ranked as one of the most beautiful atypical place for ecotourism in Africa – Safari butterflies’ pictures – (Possibility of dugout canoe ride) – Seafood Lunch – Return trip to Yaoundé at the end of the day – Settling in the hotel – diner and overnight.

Day 8: Yaounde – Kribi (294 km). After the breakfast departure for Kribi – Arrival around 12.00 PM – settling in Ilomba or hotel “le phare” (2*) – Lunch – Afternoon, dugout canoe ride on the Lobé to the pygmies camp – back to the hotel – Diner/Night.

Day 9: Kribi and surrounding areas. Breakfast and a ride to the fishermen village of Ebodjié. The site of Ebodjié is about fifty kilometers from Kribi. It has been listed by UNESCO as world heritage site. Turtles lay their eggs along the beaches between the months of November and January. On the way, visit of the Lobé’s Falls that fall directly into the ocean - Visit of the Leloup Rock – Trip back to Kribi for the lunch (some braised local products) at the landing stage of Bouamaga (exotic and charming site). Afternoon program: farniente at beaches – Back to the hotel – diner/overnight

Day 10: Kribi – Douala - Europe (177 km). Breakfast – Around 10:00 am departure to Douala – Stop to the Hotellerie de la Sanaga or Restaurant Amandine in Edéa for the Lunch – Continuing the trip, arrival at Douala – day use in the hotel – last shopping at the handicraft centre – diner and transfer to the Douala International Airport – Departure formalities and take off to Europe. End of provision of our services.
