Ti Tou Gorge is one of the most unique places on the island. The name Ti Tou Gorge is a creole word which means 'Little Throat Hole'. Literally we will swim up the 'throat' of a mountain to a waterfall located inside the gorge. This gorge was formed many thousands of years ago and is fed by the Freshwater Lake. The formation of the rock walls on either side, through which we swim are intricate and breathtaking, this place is truly one of the wonders of Dominica. There are not many places like the Ti Tou Gorge in the Caribbean, it is a "must do" when visiting Dominica.
After the gorge, take a 15-minute walk through a luxuriant forest to the spectacular twin Trafalgar Falls. Next, enjoy the beautifully colored water of the Emerald Pool in the rainforest of the Morne Trois Pitton National Park. Which takes it names for its characteristic reflection of the greenery of the vegetation in its water. This venue offers charming views and photo opportunity along with a cool and rejuvenating pool in which to swim. Note: Duration 4-5 hours.
