This is a land of tall taiga forest, crystal clear lakes, icy streams and lush grass, snow capped high mountains and the scenery - rainbows hang over meadows dotted with white gers and grazing horses, yaks and reindeers. Enjoy crystal-clear lake Huvsgul, famous for its name "Dark blue pearl" in the deep. From the top of mountain magnificent Huvsgul lake looks turquoise. Walking by the edge of the lake you will see the crystal-clear part of the lake. If you go deeper and deeper the color will change into dark blue. We offer you boat trip to small islands in the middle of the lake and you will hear fairy tales about the islands.

Tour Itinerary:

Day 1: Ulaanbaatar. Arrive in Ulaanbaatar, the capital city. Transfer to the hotel. City tour: Sukhbaatar square. Gandan Monastery. Bogd Khaan’s Winter Palace Museum. Choijin Lama Temple Museum. Zaisan Memorial Hill. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 2: Lake Khuvsgul. After breakfast flight to Murun, Huvsgul province. Lunch at restaurant. Drive to Ashihai camp at the western shore of Huvsgul lake. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 3: Ulkhun Sair (dry river). After breakfast trekking starts towards Ulkhun sair passing Khatgal village. Lunch box. Overnight in tents.

Day 4: Yamaat mountain. Trekking continues through Ulkhun hill to Yamaat Mountain. Lunch box. Overnight in tents.

Day 5: Khoridol Saridag. Trekking to Khoridol Saridag Mountain. Lunch box. Overnight in tents.

Day 6: Khonog Tsol. Continue trekking up to the Khoridol River and arrive at Khonog Tsol for overnight in tent.

Day 7: Darhad Valley. Darhad Depression is in northern Mongolia, just south of Russian Siberia. Surrounded by snow capped mountains, it's a land of extremes. The short summers get as hot as 30C and during the six-month winter, temperatures can drop to -54 C. Overnight in camp.

Days 8 - 10: Tsaatan (reindeer herders). Trekking to Tsaatan family after breakfast. Overnight in tents.

Day 11: Lake Khuvsgul. Transfer to Ashihai camp. Dinner and overnight at the camp.

Day 12: Ulaanbaatar. Drive to Murun. Flight to UB. Transfer to the hotel. City tour. Shopping. Folklore: Tsam dance - Buddhist religious dancing, contortion, hoomii (throat singing). Farewell dinner. Overnight in the hotel.

Day 13: Departure.
