Tour Itinerary: Day 1: Upon arrival at Keflavík International airport, the flight bus is taken to the B.S.I. Reykjavik where you will be met by one of us and transported to our destination place around 18:00, where your group will be served dinner and the travel schedule reviewed. After dinner you could relax in our jacuzzi before you retire for the night. Day 2: After breakfast we go out to the horses and there you got your first horse. Today we ride with the great canyon with the river Store-Laxá. On the deepest the canyon is around 100 meters. This day we ride around 35 km and it takes 6-7 hours. We end in the mountain house Helgaskáli. There we don't get so much luxury, there is no showers. But it is a nice place. Day 3: Today we ride with a mountain called Geldingarfell to Mikliöldubotna, and to Svinárnes where we stay for the night. This is a small but very nice and cosy house. If we want to take a bath we have to use the nice river. Today we ride 30 km, 6-7 hours. Day 4: Today we ride up with a river named Grótá to Fosslæk. We stop at this beautiful place and eat our lunch pack. From there we ride to Kerlingarfjöll and then Svartárbotn where we stay for the night. Now we can have a nice warm shower. After this beautiful day we have refilled our battery. Now we can ride a long day (43 km, 7-8 hours). Day 5: Today we ride along the old Kjölur road for some time. We ride from Svartárbotn to south of Kjalfell, Múlla and from there with the river Fúlukvísl to Hagavatn, and to Árbúðir where we stay for the night. This is a good house with showers. Today we ride 29 km, 6-7 hours. Day 6: From Árbúðir we ride along the lake Hvítárvatn to the river Hvítá. From there we ride to the waterfall Áboti. On the south side of Bláfell to Fremstaver where we will sleep to night. Tonight we have no showers (30 km and 6-7 hours). Day 7: Today we ride to Sandá, to Gulfoss. Where we stop to look at the amazing waterfall. Then we got to Myrkholt where we stay for the night. This is a very nice and big house with all we need. Showers and bedrooms. After the dinner we drive to Geysir. Today we have ride 30 km, 7-8 hours. Day 8: This is the last riding day. We ride from Myrkholt to Brúarhlöð from there up to the highland again, to Kaldbak. From there we go home. There we will have a nice last evening to look at pictures and talking about the tour. Today we ride 45 km, 8 hours. Day 9: Today we drive you back to Reykjavik where you take the flight or you stay for an extra day. Notes:
