Steinsholt is well placed as a starting point for both longer or shorter horse riding tours. We are located at the edge of the Icelandic highlands in very beautiful surroundings. We invite you to enjoy those with us, over a longer or shorter period of time, as you wish.
Your might come for a short one - three hour ride or stay with us for one of the magnificent all days rides, where you can choose from a number of routes, along the beautiful river Stora Laxa, along Thjorsa river where you can see waterfalls, the ancient site of the local parliament at the Budir waterfall and see the Arnes island, from which the Arnessysla (district) takes it's name. After the ride, why not enjoy the hospitality of our inn?
