Visa free cruise packages to St. Petersburg. St. Peter Line´s passenger ship M/S Princess Maria opened the ferry connection between Europe and Russia. Passengers of all nationalities can travel to Russia from Helsinki by sea, onboard a Russian passenger ship, without the process of a visa application. M/S Princess Maria is a modern passenger ferry built in Finland and it accomodates more than 1600 passengers in 606 cabins and takes up to 395 vehicles. The ferry line operator is St. Peter Line and there are three weekly departures between the two cities all year round.

Note: The passengers can stay 72 hours in St. Petersburg without a Russian visa. Passengers requiring a Schengen visa need a multivisa for the cruise. A single visa is valid only for one way trip. A new visa-free ferry connection between Helsinki and St. Petersburg operates from April 2010. Tour Itinerary:

Day 1, Thursday: Overnight cruising. Departure from Helsinki to St. Petersburg in the evening at 19:00 by Princess Maria.

Day 2, Friday: Welcome to St. Petersburg. Arrival in St. Petersburg in the morning. Panoramic city tour featuring the major highlights such as the Admiralty, St. Isaac’s Cathedral, St. Nicolas Cathedral, Palace Square, Smolny Convent followed by a visit to Peter and Paul Fortress.

Day 3, Saturday: For Art-lovers. Breakfast at hotel. Optional tour to the Hermitage Museum featuring Old Masters, State Rooms of the Winter Palace and Impressionists' Exhibition. Be ready for a long walk!

Day 4, Sunday: Imperial Jewel. Breakfast at hotel. Optional excursion to Pushkin, the former Imperial summer residences and visit to beautiful Catherine´s Palace with lunch in traditional Russian style at local restaurant. Optional transfer to the ferry terminal. Departure from St. Petersburg at 19:00.

Day 5, Monday: Good Bye and see you again! Arrival in Helsinki in the morning at 08:30.

- For cancellations made one month prior to departure the handling fee is EUR 30 per person
- For cancellations made 30–15 days prior to departure the fee is EUR 100 per person
- For cancellations made 14–2 days prior to departure 50% of the tour price will be charged
