We offer 4 and 5 day package guided winter cross-country ski and snowshoe tours in Yellowstone National Park. We specialize in a high quality small group experience. This is the way winter in Yellowstone was meant to be experienced. We base our trips from our comfortable Yurt Camp at Canyon in the heart of the Park. Daily ski destinations vary, including backcountry geyser basins, Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone River and waterfalls, mountain telemarking with great panorama views of Yellowstone. View Yellowstone wildlife, including bison, elk, coyote, trumpeter swans, ducks and geese. Your ski guides are experienced Yellowstone naturalists and backcountry guides. We can accommodate all levels of abilities with multiple guides on every trip. Daily ski adventures include education and fun. At the Yurt Camp family style meals are served and private occupancy heated sleeping huts with bedding are provided. Snowcoach transportation is provided for skier shuttles. Escape the crowds! Your Itinerary
Day 1 - Start in West Yellowstone with a snow coach pickup, then travel into the Park towards Canyon Skiers Camp. Along the way we view bison and elk and may stop for lunch at Norris Geyser Basin, or head to Canyon for an afternoon ski tour to the Canyon Rim. Includes: (L), (D).
Day 2 - Full Day ski tour with your Ski Guide, weather dependant, to variety of destinations. Including: Canyon Rim ski tour, Washburn Hot springs, Forest Hot Springs, Hayden Valley, Cascade Lake and meadows, Washburn Telemarking. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 3 - Full day ski tour. See above. Groups with various skiing abilities can be split into smaller groups according to ability. With multiple guides for every trip we can offer several different destinations (various difficulties) per day Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 4 - Full day ski tour. See above. Includes: (B), (L), (D).
Day 5 - After a morning ski, lunch, and time to pack your things, we depart the Canyon Skiers Camp for West Yellowstone. Arrival in West Yellowstone is usually around 5 pm. Includes: (B), (L).
