Your Itinerary Day 1: Fly into Petersburg and explore town a little. In the evening the group will gather to plan out the adventure. Hotel included Day 2: A riverboat will take us and the kayaks up river, crossing into Canada we'll be dropped off near Hole in the Wall. (L) (D) Day 3: Heading down river our first stop will be the great Glacier. A short hike to view its massive face and iceberg filled lake. Passing the Iskut River our sand bar campsite is right on the border. (B) (L) (D) Day 4: A lunch stop a Shakes Hot Springs is a treat before paddling to our island camp at Alpine Creek (B) (L) (D) Day 5: Leaving camp set up we'll paddle to Shakes Lake and Glacier for the Day. The lake has 5000 foot granite walls. Icebergs are a treat to paddle around. (B) (L) (D) Day 6: Explore Alpine Creek or maybe another soak in the hot spring on this rest day. (B) (L) (D) Day 7: Packing up, we head for the North Arm of the Stikine and the river delta. Camping on Knig Slough. Wild strawberries are an after dinner treat! (B) (L) (D) Day 8: A paddle through Dry Straits will get us to our take out mid-day. A van ride will return us to Petersburg. (B) (L) (D) Day 9: Its good-bye to new friends and it's off to your next adventure. Notes:
