This tours uses base camps set up in advance and is guided by naturalists.
Your Itinerary Day 1: Fly into Petersburg and explore town a little. In the evening the group will gather to plan out the adventure. Hotel room included. Day 2: A power boat ride to the icebergs and the LeConte Base Camp. We'll teach you some paddling tricks and away we go! (L) (D) Day 3: Day paddles checking out the fjord, the glacier, numerous waterfalls, bays and the Stikine River estuary. (B) (L) (D) Day 4: Same as day 3 (B) (L) (D) Day 5: Floatplanes will carry us west above Frederick Sound to the Big Creek Camp. Throw your gear in the tent and lets go paddle! (B) (L) (D) Day 6: Day trips to check out Frederick Sounds marine life. Beach comb, hike up Big Creek for a swim or to watch the salmon! (B) (L) (D) Day 7: same as day 6 (B) (L) (D) Day 8: Floatplanes or a powerboat will return us to Petersburg.
