A 2 day safari in an area with large concentration of wildlife and big herds of elephants. Even during dry season, the Tarangire river does not completely dry out, which attracts animals from far away. Combined with a visit to a Masai village. An ideal short safari, to combine with a Kilimanjaro climb or a business trip.
Your Itinerary
Day 1: Depart Arusha and drive to Tarangire NP for picnic lunch. The afternoon is spent game viewing.
Dinner and overnight :
- budget camping safari : Wild Palms campsite
- luxury camping safari : private camping in the wild
- lodge safari : Tarangire Tented Lodge
Includes: (L), (D);
Day 2: Breakfast and morning game drive. We take lunch on the campsite or lodge, where we visit a Masai village (boma). Drive back to Arusha. Includes: (B), (L).
