We have joined with our long time friends to offer a schedule of multi-sport adventures which combine white-water river rafting with backcountry horseback riding. You will have the opportunity to engage in rafting, then after a night of inn lodging, you'll experience another part of the canyonlands by horseback. The raft & ride combo features complete outfitting. The raft portion begins and ends in Green River City, Utah and the ride portion begins and ends in Torrey, Utah - it is less than a two hour commute between Green River City and Torrey. The raft portion of these camping trips explore Utah's premier white-water section of the Colorado River thru Cataract Canyon. From our headquarter, you'll travel to your launch site near the Confluence of the Green and Colorado Rivers. Participants will join the 3 day motor-powered expedition for two nights camping on the Colorado River before ending the float on Lake Powell. The ride portion of these combination trips offer participants the opportunity to join our regularly scheduled Canyonlands trailrides with destinations to Capitol Reef National Park, Escalante Canyons/Grand Staircase National Monument, the San Rafael Swell or Utah's High Plateaus. These 6 day rides include inn lodging on arrival day followed by 5 days riding with 4 nights of camping. (Although these multi-sport trips are scheduled to begin with the rafting activity, in most cases we can accommodate your time window by juggling the rafting dates to follow the riding portion of the trip--this may require an additional day or two between activities.)
