Join us for a three-day camping, canoeing and hiking program designed for those who seek a complete wilderness experience. A small group of adventurers is led by an experienced, highly qualified ORCKA guide in the Incredible Algonquin Park interior wilderness, a beautiful and secluded wilderness area located about three hours north of Toronto, Ontario.
Your Itinerary Day 1 (Friday): 7:30 am meeting at Toronto pick-up location, (transportation from Toronto available for most Ontario trips). Review of equipment and packing strategies. Travel to Algonquin Park. Paddle into the interior, set-up by 3 pm. Lunch in route. Improve your paddling technique as you tour among the many lakes and rivers of Algonquin Park. Return to camp for dinner. Evening around the fire and overnight in your tent (supplied). (L/D). Day 2 (Saturday): Breakfast. Set out for a paddling excursion. We will do a day trip paddle either to a wilderness waterfall or to wilderness river where the wildlife is abundant. Paddle back to camp. The rest of the afternoon is spent learning about equipment, shelters, outdoor cooking or just relax. You gain valuable knowledge that will help you in your future trips. Dinner and evening by the fire. Overnight in your tent. (B/L/D). Day 3 (Sunday): Relaxing breakfast while enjoying the bueatiful wilderness lake we are camped on. Additional paddling instruction, . Picnic lunch. Paddle back to the starting point, arriving by late afternoon. (B/L). Notes:
