Day 1 (Thursday)
Arrive at the La Aurora international airport in Guatemala City, where a shuttle will be waiting to pick you up and transfer you to your hotel.

Day 2
Visit Almolonga and Zunil. Zunil and Almolonga, beautiful traditional Quiche towns are located nine kilometers from the capital of Quetzaltenango. Zunil is known for is regional dress, jaspe cloth, worn daily by Guatemalan women, and Almolonga is known for the largest orchard in the country. Both towns are next to one another, separated only by the waters of the Samala River.

Day 3
Visit Totonicapan & Gumarcaj. Totonicapán has 53 weaving pottery and wooden toy workshops, which make this town one of the most important handicraft centers of the country. Gumarcaj or Utatlan is the former capital of the K'che's

Day 4
Early in the morning depart for Chichicastenango, one of the highlights of the living Maya highlands. In Chichicastenango visit the second largest outdoor market in Latin America; Santo Tomas church; morerías and Cerro Pascual Abaj. Afternoon you will depart for Atitlan, the most beautiful lake in the world.

Day 5
Take a scenic boat ride across the lake passing by the three impressive volcanoes. The tour stops in Santiago Atitlán, one of the 12 native villages surrounding the lake. At the village you will you will walk with your guide to find the house where the Maya God Maximon resides, once there you may see a local shaman performing rituals for locals. You will also visit the local church and the local market. You will have lunch and return to your hotel in the afternoon. Afternoon transfer to Antigua Guatemala.

Day 6
Tour one of the oldest cities in the Americas, Antigua Guatemala. From its colonial architecture to its beautiful surroundings, you will be charmed as you stroll through town on the cobblestone streets, exploring stunning monasteries, convents and cathedrals. Our tour includes visits to Capuchinas Convent, Central Plaza, Calle del Arco, La Merced Church and the Handcraft market. In the evening return to your hotel.

Day 7
Transfer and half day visit Copan. Copan is an archaeological site located in Honduras. In Copan you will find some of the most interesting painting manifestations of the Mayan Culture.

Day 8
Transfer to Guatemalan Caribbean visiting Quirigua, an archaeological site declares human heritage.

Day 9
Boat transfer to Livingston, a unique Garifuna town. Next, continue our boat tour through the Rio Dulce Canyon, Río Tatín, Biotope Chocón Machacas and San Felipe castle. Transfer to Candelaria.

Day 10
Visit Candelaria Caves. Candelaria Caves offers the visit of two of the most impressive dry caves and an exciting water trip, floating on tubes in a subterraneous section of the Candelaria River. In addition to its speleological attributes, this cave system has great cultural and natural significance since it was a main pilgrimage site for the ancient Maya civilization and it shelters diverse flora and fauna. For the archeology buff there are more than 20 archaeological sites surrounding the cave system and a great amount of Maya pottery, which shows its relevance in ancient times. transfer to Sayaxche.

Day 11
Half day visit Aguateca. If you love adventure and direct contact with pre-Hispanic construction, we suggest that you get to know Aguateca, a beautiful spot where you can find both mysterious cliffs and extensive plains of unequaled beauty. When you travel to Lake Petexbatun, you will find a cliff that runs towards the west, and Aguateca is located on top of the plain. Transfer to Flores.

Day 12
Early morning departure to the archeological site of Tikal. Here you will have the opportunity to explore the many pyramids, stelae, temples and buildings of the most important Mayan City yet discovered. As you wind through the jungle paths of this ancient site, you will also be able to experience the many species of plants, a variety of birds and the famous howler and spider monkeys. Afterwards enjoy a delicious lunch in a restaurant in the middle of the jungle. Flight to Guatemala City.

Day 13
Half day visit to Pacaya Volcano. Pacaya is one of 33 volcanoes in Guatemala and one of three active ones. It is located just 45 minutes from Guatemala City. Pacaya is a fairly popular volcano amongst the travelers; it offers climbers a unique glance into the geologic bowels of the earth. A relatively easy climb of one hour brings us to the fertile shelf called La Meseta where you can get an awesome view of the lava flows. Depending on the activity you can walk right up to the rim of the crater and look in. Transfer to
Monterrico Beach & natural reserve.

Day 14
Free day Monterrico Beach & natural reserve. The quiet atmosphere is evident all around. A hammock, a drink and good company will be enough to enjoy a moment of peace that will help you relax your mind. The greatest attraction of Monterrico definitely is its channels, which are practically water ways along the mangroves, home to a great number of bird and fish species, as well as a highly varied flora.
