Tour Itinerary:
Day 1:
Arrival at Guatemala City. Welcome and Meeting at La Aurora International Airport. Transfer to the hotel.
Day 2:
Visit the archaeological site of Iximché located in Tecpan, Chimaltenango. Transfer to the Atitlan Lake. Lodging.
Day 3:
Visit the Santander Avenue and the Central Park of Panajachel. Enjoy a journey across the lake and get to Santiago Atitlan where you will visit its handicrafts market. Lodging.
Day 4:
Transfer to Chichicastenango. Visit the handicrafts market and the main church. Lodging.
Day 5:
Transfer to Antigua Guatemala. Free Day. Lodging.
Day 6:
Visit the colonial city of Antigua Guatemala. Have a tour to the main churches and museums of the City, to the central park and the “arch of Antigua” and the craftsmanship market. Lodging.
Day 7:
Transfer to Copán. Visit to the Archaeological Park of Copan Ruins, Symbol of Mayan Renaissance. Lodging.
Day 8:
Transfer to Quiriguá. Visit of Quiriguá Archaeological site, cradle of the biggest stele of Mayan Empire. Lodging in Rio Dulce.
Day 9:
Arrival to Livingston by boat. Visit to the Garífunas community in Livingston. Transfer to Flores, Peten in the afternoon.
Day 10:
Visit the main temples and monuments of the region and the most important archaeological park of Guatemala: Tikal. Lodging.
Day 11:
Free day (Optional tours to Yaxhá, Uaxactún or Aktún Can Caves). Flight to Guatemala City in the afternoon. Lodging in Guatemala City.
Day 12:
Transfer to the international airport “La Aurora” in Guatemala City. Departure.
